Censeo Inc. began operations in early 2002 with the desire to make life in the field of long-term care less stressful for caregivers and healthier for residents. During the course of his extensive experience with critical care patients, Censeo's co-founder, Kevin Inman, began to notice deficiencies in existing wound risk prediction tools. He knew that the technology existed to create a tool that would allow for weighted consideration of different risk factors and set about creating an algorithm capable of taking into account such things as age, previous history of ulcers, and existing complications such as diabetes. The ultimate result of his initial efforts is the Censeo Scale, our proprietary wound risk calculation tool that is incorporated into our Wound Manager software.

In cooperation with our industry-leading partners, Censeo now develops handheld PC software solutions for the long-term, homecare, assisted living, and acute health care markets. Although Censeo also offers a full range of outcomes consulting services to care providers and equipment manufacturers, our specialty remains wound and fall risk assessment and documentation software.
